My Gen would like to thank everyone for supporting and participating in the Green Festival Challenge program these last few years. Thank you very much for being a part of the student’s educational experience. We have tried to create a program that will provide an environmental education and harness the energy of students, teachers, festivals and community members to make their communities more sustainable. We appreciate your being part of our efforts.
Unfortunately, these are tough economic times and the funding to support our programs has diminished. As we are structured today, the complexity of our programs and time needed to identify additional funds is not suitable for an all-volunteer organization.
Therefore, My Gen must discontinue its programs until partnerships can be identified that will take over operational and funding responsibility for the Green Festival Challenge.
We thank you for being a part of the Green Festival Challenge and hope you will continue to invest in our most precious resource; our children.
